Brewers reliever Josh Hader said on Tuesday night that there was 'no excuse' for racist, sexist & anti-gay tweets he made six & seven years ago that recirculated on the internet after his poor outing in this years MLB All Star Game.
Posts Hader wrote in 2011 & 2012 quickly came up after that he allowed a three run home run to the Mariners' Jean Segura in the eighth inning.
I am deeply sorry for what I said & what has been going on, he told the journalists at his locker at Nationals Park, Washington after that game.
Hader blamed the tweets on his age at that time. Which is as below-
'I was 17 years & as a child I was immature and obviously I said some things that were inexcusable,' he said. 'That doesn't reflect on who I am as a person today.'
Hader's tweets are protected now. It is unclear how long that has been in the case. Screenshots flooded in the internet from Tuesday night.
The tweets reportedly prompted Hader's family members attending the game to try to conceal their identities.
